Help slow charge?

Anyone elses taking forever and a day to charge?

Turned on or off... 8 hours later from dead... 57 percent. Tested two days

SGN on VZW or the GSM verion?

I only have exp with the VZW/CDMA/LTE version, and it charges fast with the oem 1.0 Amp charger.

Use a pc and cable, and it's 0.5 amp or less.

Use a cheap charger and your screen could freak out, become non-responsive, and could be left like that permanently.... there's lots of posts about that from the OG Droid days.

You have VZW phones in your profile, so we know. I'll just ask anyway, since there are two completely different phones out there:

CDMA/LTE or GSM version?

Forum should be split, or people forced to admit which one they have. Note my info under my name in this post.:D
 
Mine takes forever too...I have CDMA/LTE version. Started with full charge this morning. By lunch time I was under 50% so on lunch break errands, charge it in my car. It only got back up to 60% or so in the 30 min of driving I did. Back at work now, hooked up to my laptop for about 1 hr and still only at 70%. Not happy.

Again, USB is not charging with a lot of juice, use an AC
 
My CDMA version charges plenty fast. I only charge via AC however, not USB. USB charges much slower than AC, I would hope that is common knowledge.
