No matter what cord, adapter, or outlet i use my phone says "slow charging"and its hard because most of my school work i am on my phone and i have to charge it on my lunch, it only charges about 5 percent in 45 minutes when it used to charge 40-50. Help!! Even if i use the cord my phone came with it still says it!! I have a verizon galaxy s4!

Help Slow Charging?

Did this just start recently? Perhaps after you changed some settings or notifications? Or maybe an app download recently?
The reason I ask, something could be using your battery abnormally and it's struggling to charge.

It started about 3 months ago and i have not changed anything settings wise, and i dont think i have installed any apps.
How about the charging port on the device...is it clean? I know it's difficult to peer inside of it, but perhaps fuzz/lint (especially if you pocket carry it) could be lodged inside. (air in a can can possibly resolve that).

Does it charge so slow on an AC charger?
It only charges slow on AC it charges normal
on DC
