Help Slow Downloads from Android Market

I am trying to download a couple of apps from the Android market (not at the same time) and they are going painfully slow, if at all. They are showing in the 'currently downloading' frame but don't appear to be doing anything. I am using wifi to download the apps and I have never had an issue before. Could anyone help?
 
Mine's doing the same thing today, have had it before on the odd occasion too but seems esp bad today, I've managed to get a few things thru this aft tho. Try changing connection type from wifi to 3G sometimes wifi is a bit buggy when I'm d/l stuff.

Also u could try clearing your cache in your market and download manager apps (Settings>Manage applications>) did that this afternoon and got a few downloads to come down.

As said above try clearing the cache within settings > Applications > Manage Applications. Its also worked before when I've also cleared data, force stop and tried again.

Maybe there is a bit of an issue with it today.
 
Thanks both, good to know there seems to be a more general problem. I've cleared the cache/data and like you, have managed to get the odd thing through. I guess I'll just have to be patient.
 
I am having great difficulty to download anything from the market. I was lucky enough to update the odd app earlier today, but apart from that no success at all.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?? I have tried clearing the cache but to no avail.
 
Good to hear others are also suffering this problem, late yesterdy I started having problems as I couldn't download updates for some apps, for a moment I suspected it was my device.
 
Same here. Been like it for a couple of days. Google Market forums are full of people with the same issues. Strange silence from Google there though....
