Help slow gmail

[thecincinnatikid]

I am new to this phone but the Gmail is very slow in sending and loading new mail. It sometimes hangs in the OUTBOX for 10-15 minutes before sending. My cell company says they have issues with their email but I would think gmailshould be real quick. I can text, browse, load from the market, etc but just real slow gmail. Any suggestions on setting I can change? Thanks

Have you tried rebooting? That usually cures this issue.

If the issue recurs, you should uninstall any Task Killers you might have on your phone. (Read article in my signature as to why). -- And reboot after uninstalling.

Rebooting did not help but uninstalling Adv App Killer did. All my email is up to date and send quickly. Thanks for the article. I forwarded it to the tech support for Cincinnati Bell Wireless since it was their class that strongly encouraged everyone to use the AAK. THANKS!
