Sorry for bringing the thread up. Experience this as well, but have fixed mine. The culprit in my mobile is the Dropbox items, which contains huge images from my projects folder, which is not related to photos. My fix is disabling mobile backup of photo in my dropbox. It will remove the file as well. After it, the experience is back to smooth and fast. I even subscribe to this forum to let others fix theirs to, in hope it can help as well.
