Slow Motion Video app?

New S4 user here.

Anything that can tap into the stock camera hardware better than the default camera App?

This is one feature that I sincerely miss from my iPhone 5s - crisp slow motion at 720p. Even my iPhone 4s could take 60fps at 720p.

800 X 450 with washed out looking color really does not cut it.

My Note 3 can use an app called A Better Camera that claims it can do that. I haven't tried it yet.

On my MetroPCS S4 go to the stock camera app, then switch to video. Click the 3rd icon at the top which is a cog wheel with an arrow. Click he 5th icon which is a little movie camera icon and you have 4 recording modes, one of which is slow motion mode.

Not sure if you had already tried that or if that is the one that is washed out.

This is the video I was referring to as not quite right. It records at 800 X 450.

I purchased Camera ZOOM FX earlier today for $2.99, and it seems a good solution for day to day usage.

I especially like the fact you can also edit\delete photos from the built in gallery as well as share them without having to switch out of the camera App.
