Slow Performance

Having bought the Galaxy S3 earlier this year I decided to go for the Galaxy tab 2 10.1 also. I have been extremely disappointed with the slow nature of the device. It feels sluggish, things don't move or slide smoothly. It's like it's running at 15fps all the time.

It's not powerful enough to run Chrome - it's painfully slow to load webpages compared to the S3 which is so much faster.

Is there something wrong with my device or anything to fix the problem? It's like this even after a factory reset.

NO..m8 nothing wrong with YOUR device its just freakin Android..its CRAP..unless they get the Jelly Bean update sorted for our Tab2 .10.1..it will stay as is..FULL of Bugs and really frustrating.!:mad:
I have exactly the same problems..even the simplest Basic function WIFI is a real disaster.!

Apparently if you Root and update to another Custom Firmware it runs better.!
Cannot confirm this personally because I dont want to go down that Road..!
Many users are in the same Boat as us...dont worry you are NOT alone.!

I haven't had any issues with Chrome or most other apps, only the Stumbleupon app seems to be terribly slow and buggy for me. Occasionally on the girlfriend's tab (also a tab 2 10.1) youtube videos won't play until the tab is reset for some reason. Other than that we've both had no problems with them being sluggish, and on top of that the battery life is terrific.
