Help Slow response to touch???

Over the last couple of weeks the response time to my 'touches' is very, very slow. Of course this leads to repeated touches which leads to multiple openings & callings. It occurs intermittently... but much too often. It doesn't seem to matter which icons that I am attempting to 'activate', but it can take up to a full minute or more to respond to the 'touch command'. Any ideas anyone??? Thanks!

Have you noticed if battery life seems to be less lately as well? It sounds as if something is running in the background, and running quite a bit. It could be an error in syncing contacts, calendars and/or gmail that is causing a sync loop. (You can check for that in settings->accounts & sync and see if the Google account keeps syncing over and over.)

Thanks for the reply doogald. I kind of wondered the same thing as it seems to be "too busy" to respond sometimes. I'll check the sync and see what I find. I don't do much with gmail or anything with the cal. and did have an 'app killer' that shut idle apps down. I'll have to look and see if it's still there.
