Help Slow speed

I have a Samsung Ace 3 S7275R mobile phone and is slow and choppy/jerky on the home screen and in the apps selection pages (when going left and right you change apps page) and that is slow and some times iresponsive. This problem only happens on home screen and app selection pages and not anywhere else. What should i do to fix it?

Moved to the Ace 3 section, the guys here should be able to assist. :)

You should be able to clear cache by heading to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Launcher Name -> Clear Cache.

I reinstalled the OS from the phone's menu (not the recovery screen) and the speed improved
Greatly. It could it be that the ROM is corrupted. How could I rewrite or repair the ROM?

It could be an app that was corrupted, which is why the factory reset sorted it.

I'm not familiar with the ins and outs of Samsungs, but you can reinstall firmware using Odin.

Firmwares | SamMobile

There are firmware files there.

There's probably no need to do anything now if the issue is fixed, but I can have a look for an Odin guide for you if the issue pops up again.

I tried thru Odin and Samsung Kies and the result is the same. Is partially can be fixed only thru Settings menu. With the other methods (and recovery boot screen) reproduce the problem.

I have cutted my large SIM card to micro-SIM using a SIM cutter. Does this affects perfomance when not changed to a new micro-sim?
