Help Slow USB Popup

I just got my Rezound and I'm finding that when I connect to my laptop or any PC via USB and choose disk drive mode, the computers take forever to see the phone drives. When I had this problem on my Dinc I was able to dial ##7764726 and go to Feature Settings and disable CD ROM and this fixed the problem. When I try the same thing on the Rezound Feature Settings doesn't have the CD Rom option. Any ideas what I can do to speed it up?

I had both the Dinc and now the Rezound and never noticed any slow read of the drives with either phone. Are you choosing disk drive mode prior to or during your connection? I always tell the phone to be read as a disk drive prior to making the USB connection. If that's not the problem.. I'm sorry I'm of little help.

Thanks for the suggestion but it's still the same. However I do get the CD Rom wanting to pop up everytime and thats the same thing my Dinc was doing until I used the ##7764726 trick. Hmmmm....

I hear they make little blue pills for that.

That's exactly what I was trying to avoid. I don't have that on my end. I feel that is what's causing the slow read of the drives. Has to be a PC setting...

I would think so as well but since the work around on my Incredible fixed the same problem and I get the same thing happening on 4 different PC's it points to something with the phone.
