Help SM-N915T No T Mobile Logon ?

I purchased a SM-N915T from Amazon. When I powered it on there was no T Mobile logon or bloatware. I checked to see if has been rooted using Terminal Emulator. I had a $ so I typed su and it came back as a $ indicating that the phone hasn't been rooted.

I emailed the seller and this is what he told me "Because this phone is the samsung original OEM. It carries all the same specs for T-mobile but this is not the T-mobile phone (not locked to T-mobile)"

I will be using a AT&T sim card. And it looks like I'm not getting 4G LTE.

So what is going on here ?

Have you went to SETTINGS > MORE NETWORKS > MOBILE NETWORKS > NETWORK OPERATORS > & selected either SEARCH NOW OR SELECT AUTOMATICALLY?

Even if terminal emulator doesn't give you SU access, it doesn't mean the phone wasn't rooted. The international unlock phone has different model number. Just check the Knox warranty by going into download mode if it is 0x1 then the phone was modified.
