So I just received my Note 2 and am working on getting it setup. I've been adding some widgets, but they are all so big. I've been reading some about launchers, and so installed Nova because you can add more columns and rows to the home screen. This makes the widget smaller, but the text of the widget doesn't resize, so it is basically useless at the smaller size. The goal is to have multiple widgets per page, but not have them dominate the screen.

Generally if you long press on a widget (after it is on a home screen) you can choose resize and drag the tags to resize it. It works with some, but not all widgets. (Some scale down, some dont)
That is with Holo HD launcher. With Touchwiz it still works, sort of, but without the pop up menu and Touchwiz does not work with some widgets.

I guess I just haven't been lucky enough to find widgets that scale down the font size yet when they are resized. I just downloaded Holo HD, and I like that I can have a 10X10 grid on the homescreen.
Now off to look for some widgets that will work when they are small. I'm looking for an agenda/calendar widget that will show the next 4 or 5 items on my calendar. An email widget so I can see recent mail, and a news feed that can tie in with Google Alerts so I can see any breaking news for companies we follow. Hoping to get this and a couple of more small things (world clock, a shortcut or two) onto one home screen and laid out in a nice way.
