You know the sad truth. I typed my last message from my phone it was laggy as hell. I had to wait for Thr phone to catch up on words I was typing. I don't know if its the HTC keyboard mod or if the phone was updating or what but it was terrible.

WELL , MAYBE if we write words in spanish you would be worst than me writting english words, its not about grammar things its about using a phone, and learn how to usit or customize, the relative truth is your x10 sucks mine not, and btw my phone is almost amazing.. cheers mate. good luck on your next handset

o M,.Bk being honest my phone has restarted itself once in 4 months, timescape i notice a bit slow not always but my phone came with 16gbmicro sd, stock. the camera flash sucks not automatic, I use vignette cracked version for automatic flash, bluetooth 120 seconds its just stupid, overal my battery last 2 days , automatic updates turned off and 3 g off, when not in use,for keyboard use swipe cracked version too, documents to go, full version to edit word and powerpoint,, for almost all videos i use yxplayer MY NATIVE LENGUAJE IS SPANISH so excuse my english. i never use english only for web browsing
so there you go, your phone isnt perfect. whats the point of buying a phone that you have to fill with apps to make it work properly? you shouldnt have to play with a phone to make it run how its supposed to run. did se really think people wouldnt mind the completely terrible keyboard they included with the phone?
i know very well how to use the phone, but as i said, i shouldnt have to download app killers, juice defender, keyboard apps, or anything to make this phone work properly, it should work perfectly and those thing should make it work even better. its like buying a ferrari and then having to buy the motor and wheels seperatly, you bought a shiney fast looking machine that doesnt work how its supposed to

heres some good news. my brand new phone, i just thre in my sim card, put in my memory card, put in the battery. fired it up, gave it about 5 minutes to load any things it needs to load. i havent put a single thing onto it not a damn thing and its laggy already. the swipe unlock is glitchy, yeah real nice huh.

yup third phone, its 30 minutes old and already laggy. i havent even reloaded my contacts into it yet.
also you mentioned a flash, this phone doesnt have one, the program you talk about make the light go off but thats it, not even close to what a flash does. i guess sony in their infinite wisdom decided it would be great to put an 8.1 mp camera into a phone but not give it a flash, one of the most important features a camera can have. great job sony.

besides which, i think my telescopic end would cause harassment
some people love, some people hate, others just go overboard and think they are god lol well i have a nice dslr camera i use for picture taking. my point is even cheap shit phones have a flash on them. what id love is to find a nokia 5190 again, i loved that phone. you cold play baseball with it and it would still work
im hoping this phone comes to its senses, so far its been a little laggy mostly on the unlock screen. hell just before i tossed the old one into the rogers box it was lagging so bad that it was stick between two home screens. i had half of my main screen showing and half of the one to its right. and it just sat there until i pulled its battery

well this phone,, after tonite proved to me how big of a piece of crap it is,, i couldnt even get through half of a 8 hour shift, and the screen dimmed and the little red led started flashing,,, battery friggn dead,,
i dont know what everyone else does with there phone,, but when after a full charge and 3 hrs later its dead, that is friggn crap,,,
btw,, this is the second phone,, and it is stock with the only extra app being bloomberg,,,

Jackx10, I have said before on here that you must have one of the only X10's that works as SE wanted.
It is nothing to do with owners being dumb and everything to do with the phone is actually rather bad.
You get 30 odd hours battery and I was lucky to get 12-14 hours, I would have lag issues, the odd reboot issue and the odd random app launching on its own like open up the browser and music would start playing with nothing in the notification bar to say what app was playing it.
I wont get into the poor camera and music playing ability's as the phone has neither "Cybershot" or "Walkman" logo's on.
Most things are OK with the phone but after using an old laggy Samsung Galaxy Portal there is not much in speed from the X10 to the Galaxy.

My two issues so far are, I get some app trying to access something using "data"- however having no data plan it sends me a message regularly telling me I can buy one for X amount...no thanks...
and regularly it loses or wipes out my contacts, so my pictures etc for them are gone, so I have to restore from a backup. This happens about twice a week, different SDHC cards, different levels of apps. Total mystery to me...
no reboots, the occasional force close app, camera is not what I bought the device for so I don't care if it is crappy or doesn't have a flash...
I haven't had any issues so far with the music playing app, which is the chief reason I bought the device...
My needs and expectations I am sure are much lower than most on this forum, so it is no surprise I am relatively satisfied with mine.
for all its limitations my Blackberry 9000 is a pretty decent device as well and is pretty much equivalent -sans a decent sized screen -as far as I am concerned.
if a smart phone is for smart people i must be the biggest ****** ever. my phones been activated since last night, and its already giving me issues, lagging, freezing, etc. i just got off the phone with rogers, gotta call back wed to make sure they got the oldone that i sent back last last and i get to go with phone number 4. and, and a a big and, the rogers guy told me flat out the firmware thats on the phone right now is garbage and the phone is in desperate need of an update. his words.
