Help Smart Stay Issue

I just switched over from the other side (Apple) to Android (S6) last week and have been loving it so far!

But perhaps this is a non-issue for most people.. whenever I enable my smart stay feature, I don't see the eye symbol to indicate if it's on/off. It works though, I've tested the screen and it's doing it's job. I've turned it on/off, reset the phone, etc, but the eye symbol doesn't appear! -- obviously not a huge deal since I can just go into my settings to see if it's on but would be nice to know if I'm within the camera frame or if my phone is defected.

Thanks in advance!

Smart Stay is a part of TouchWiz on Samsung phones. Which one do you own and I'll move it to the device forum.:)

My Samsung tablet I only see the eye every so often when it's checking to see if I'm still looking at it! Other then that I don't see it! Have you tried to just put the phone down n not look at it to see if it will pop up?

Yep, I've tried that. I've had smart stay turned on since I received the phone and I have never seen the eye symbol lol

That is definitely a weird one! Only other thing I can suggest is put your phone in safe mode n see if it works to make sure another app isn't messing with it!

Just tried the safe mode and still didn't show up. It's alright though, I'm happy it's working but was curious.
Thanks for your suggestions amarie82!
