'Smart View' Android app

Samsung recently announced their Smart View app which allows you to connect your GS2 to a Samsung Smart TV and view TV content on your phone when both are linked to same wifi network

I recently got one of these TVs so I've downloaded the app however it appears to be nothing more than a remote control - theres no TV stream showing ....has anyone tried this and got it to work??
 
I would have been able to help you with this as I nearly bought the D8000 last week and was planning of getting this app.

Then I saw the telly in real life..... :(

By the way i tried connecting the phone to the TV via USB in order to view pics etc and guess what ....its not recognised! Two Samsung devices!!
