Help Smashed Screen

I managed to drop my phone this morning and smasjed the glass outer cover over the home keys.

Any ideas where best to get repaired (not HTC service centre...)

I spoke.with a couple and one who fixed my ipod touch. Apparently its nearly impossible for them to separate the lcd and glass screen so will need both units at cost of 170+vat... also, warranty will be void.

Decided to call HTC who quoted 85 plus vat with 5 day turn around and the warranty remains intact with 90 days warranty on new screen.

Think HTC are best option, will keep you posted...
 
I personaly would buy the parts and do it myself but then i know how to, you may not :/ i think like you said sending it to HTC would be best :)
 
Two weeks in & acording to HTC phone in for diagnostics / testing - just look at the screen, see it is cracked and fix the f'king thing...

Apparently will receive a call today with a quote for the repair.

Breath not being held...
 
One month in & still no phone.

coomplaint escalated 3 times, not even a quote.

HTC have now agreed to fix for free but as i'm in the US for a holiday next week, am pushing for a replacemen as can't guarantee my phone will be fixed.

My advice, DON'T USE HTC REPAIR CENTRE forget the waqrranty & have any repairs done by a dodgy little shop in Wembley that wil fix your phone & repait it in 3 days.
