So, a friend talked me into getting the iPhone 3G way back when and I hated it for the first two weeks, and almost returned it, but I got hooked, and kept an iPhone all the way up until last week. I had jailbroken and unlocked my phone so I could use it during my year of study abroad, and the first week I was here I fell on it and crushed it. I didn't break the screen, mind you, I crushed it, all the way through. I don't even know how that's possible.
Anyway, I started scouting the newspaper ads and found a really sweet deal on a Samsung Galaxy S3, which had been getting great reviews. I bought it, and I have been loving this phone ever since. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I love the infinite possibilities with Android. Sure, I spent a lot more time trying to figure things out and solving problems (I would never recommend an android phone to an elderly relative, even with stock software), but I love it, and I'm having so much fun.
When I'm not messing with my phone, I'm usually reading (which a strong skew towards science fiction & fantasy), trying to learn Danish, exploring my new city on bike, or doing way too much homework. I like aquariums and animals too, and I'm always dragging junk home that I think I'll use. Sometimes I do.
