I keep getting a notification that "Smith" has been disabled and is expired. I cannot find the actual app and have no idea what this means. I do know that my phone has been running super slow and delayed with everything that I try to do.

I think we are going to need more information. You might want to register so we could work this out with you.

I'm having this same issue too. I have the HTC one. My phone is really slow and when I rebooted I had a notification along the top saying my Smith app expired

Well, the app seems to be related to logging. I'm not sure what for exactly, but I think you would have to be rooted to disable it. And I'm not sure what would happen if you did.

I received the same message on 8/15 - "Smith - expired!"
Android Central thread seems to think it is an expired HTC logging app. No information on what its role is. Does anyone know more about it?

I have had this Pop up a few times too on my HTC One... It is back today

I appreciate the link to the info - BUT should we Turn All On or Off???
1st off, I'm Not really a tec-head so I don't know what this is ... Also Not a fan of anyone collecting data so I would guess Turn Off ... but the real question is: does it do anything good for the phone / should it actually be on???

Thanks - Tim
