Root Smoothest Rom+kernel ?

Please note - smoothest not fastest! i.e. quadrant scores don't matter.

- How smooth and responsive is the phone?
- Does it lag with a lot of simultaneous updates?
- any scrolling lag?

IMO these things are what make the user experience great, not speed. (I also have a theory based on personal experience that Sense isn't that much worse than Aosp which I'd like to confirm)

Please list your favorite combo -

- hw version
- rom, kernel. Froyo or GB, Sense or Aosp
- no. of apps installed
- launcher
- any cpu scaling (SetCpu, JuiceDefender etc)

scaling done by kernel. using apps in addition to this will hurt your experience

I don't see how setcpu would hurt anything. Its just telling the processor how to work with the kernel. How else could you change governor settings in situations where its not built directly into the rom?
