I constantly get "could not send" reply with my x10 even when theres a full signal sms hardly ever sends when bigger than a few lines, and i dont very often get a good 3g connection its as if the x10 (droid 2.1), uses 3g to send sms is this the case? ive never had this issue with any other phone ive always sent sms even when no bars apear at all (old phone was x1 on same vodafone network livin at same address),
voda sent me out a suresignal to try but its pretty useless as my broadband is with sky and their router only has 2 available ethernet slots wich are in use with pc and ps3 and it ony send 3g over the net anyway..

Am i missing a setting GSM/WCDMA is selected data roaming is on data traffic is on, i have no vpn, i do have a taskiller but mesages are ignored, and i beleive it only kills apps not services,
I love the phone but these text issues are getting on my t**s can any 1 help?
sorry if this has been mentioned before...

No standard messenger altho i have installed handcent which is better at sending it seems (this was voda's answer when i called them), and there was a fix on their forum by doing an update via repair which i dont want to do as i was concerned it would revert back to 1.6 remove all my setting/personals ect...

Unless you are rooted and actually choose to roll back to 1.6 you won't get a down grade using the update. If you use the repair option you will lose all your data on your phone, like contacts and messages but anything on your SD card will be fine. If your contacts are synced then they will come back when you set the sync up again, if not then save them to your SD card. As you now have Handcent you can save your messages to your SD card and restore them after the update.

If you need any other advice, please ask!
