Help SMS and the status bar

usually when I receive a text the little envelope pops up on my status bar and stays till i read the text. now it pop up for a second and goes away. anyone know how to keep it up there? PS im using stock SMS app.

happened to me awhile ago, are you using widget locker at all? widget locker messes with my notifications for sms when i go in and read the message the notification is still sitting there, and sometimes it goes away. Try resetting your phone, sense might be having issues.

Yes, I do use Widget locker, ill try this and see if it woks, thanks for the help.

havent found a permanent fix, just that sense and widget locker sometimes don't play nicely. my notifications worked fine when i was using launcher pro and widget locker though.
