I would like to design an app that monitors your SMS (without 1 wasting battery, and 2 without snooping on your messages) and if exact case and text is met the app launches an application. For instance, a practical:
You dropped your phone while trekking on a mountain. Assuming you don't have any security software installed, you would be sunk. Possibly your wireless provider could help? What if you could just use a friends phone and text "LAUNCH GPS TRACKER" To your phone? When the app launches you'd be able to see your phone online. I know there are other applications that try this but I want an app that launches
other apps. Not just itself, let me know if this sounds reasonable and email me if you want anything. I can't develop apps, I just know basics.
