Help SMS Backup app question

Sorry but I have another dumb question. I am looking at SMS Backup app after accidentally deleting all my messages.

What do all the permissions mean and you have a choice of which to allow? The only part I was concerned with was it said it disabled sleep mode?? Does that mean my phone will stay on all the time or what?

It means that while the app is running it prevents your phone from going into sleep mode. This is most likely so that it won't get interrupted while it is working and create a bad or partial backup. It's nothing to be concerned about.
