Agreed. Verizon just told me it was my Serial #. Take out the battery and put it back in. That should fix it!

Is that with it on? With it off? What? Because I've got the simcard one where when I call someone my 555-555-5555 shows up correctly, but when I SMS its 20932093029 (sim card) Glad some people's seems to be working

I did both I popped the battery out while it was on (although rebooting up my phone wasn't happy... now notice an unusually long boot up once the animation on the thunderbolt storm stops it takes about 35-47 seconds to get to the screen lock screen) and while it was off.


and did a test text with a friend and my number did show up correctly

Just had this problem myself. My brother called asking what's up with all the digits when I text him and that her couldn't send me a reply to my text messages. I just did a reboot and all is fixed.

Exactly. This happened to me on launch day and I simply did a battery pull and everything has been flawless since. IMO, amazing phone and I'm coming from an Incredible, which I thought was awesome too.
