Help SMS Delivery confirmations on HTC Vivid

Just got my HTC Vivid - really pleased except for one thing. On my old HTC Desire, I could view the delivery status of a SMS message by press and hold the message and selecting "View Report". The status would show as either "Pending" or "Received". The Vivid doesn't seem to have any such option. All I can find is the "View message details" option when tapping a sent message on the screen. This does have a "Status" message, but only ever says "Sent". I know this is not the same as a delivery confirmation, merely confirmation it's been submitted to the message center for delivery.

Have I missed a setting somewhere in the phone to request delivery confirmations? I know it must be possible to see these confirmations on the phone, as I'm on the same carrier and same SIM card as when I got them on my Desire. Any suggestions gratefully received!

You can check your text message settings by opening your messages,hit menu then settings.But I'm not finding this option on the vivid.Only the options you mention above.You could try a messaging app from the market and see if one of those has this option.
