I have a new new Samsung Fascinate on the Verizon Network.
On all of my previous Verizon phones (the last one being a Palm Centro), I would have access to a view containing my sent messages. Any message sent to another Verizon subscriber would have a checkmark next to it to show that it was received by the other device. Tapping the message would even show the time it was delivered (usually within a minute of when it was sent).
I have not been able to find such a feature on the messaging app that comes with the Fascinate. I installed another SMS application - Handcent. This actually gives an option to "Request a delivery report from carrier". I selected this option and the messages sent now have a status of "Pending", even though I have verified that they were received (testing with my wife's phone).
Is there a way to bring this feature back?
Thanks for any help,
Chaim
