Help SMS Delivery Reports

I am trying to get my TB configured so that I get a delivery report. On my Incredible, I could hold down on the message and then choose VIEW MESSAGE DETAILS and it would tell me if the text had been received or not if they were a Verizon customer. I have tried changing options in the settings menu from the message screen, but it still isn't working right. The way I have it set up now, when the recipient receives the message, it gives me a report saying so, but it goes into the notification screen and also makes a noise like I received a message.

I got out my Incredible and compared settings, and everything looks to be the same.

To clarify, I want to get delivery confirmation for a text that was successfully sent, but don't it to show in the notification menu or make any noises.

I have the same issue. My Eris collected the delivery reports, but didn't beep me when they came in. I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of that annoying confirmation as it makes me think the person has replied to me already.
