I love my Desire... except for one thing:
When sending, receiving, reading SMS messages it often crashes with a force close. This seems to be totally random but happens every few days.
I've even tried keeping my inbox fairly empty but it still happens.
Whats worse is I cant reboot when this happens. I just get "shutting down" but nothing happens even if I leave it for an hour or more. I have to take the battery out.
When I shut down, remove the battery or whatever I do, after the crash, all my messages are gone!
Is this a common bug in Android 2.1 or is it T-Mobile?
The only app I've got that does anything with text messages is Phonalyzr. I use this to keep track of how many texts I've sent.
