Help SMS message cajubled.

My texting got messed up all of a sudden, an now when I text it looks like this:

Me: blah blah blah
Me: blah blah blah
Me: blah blah blah
Person: asdf
Person: asdf
Person: asdf

Anything I send gets put to the top of the chat. It's annoying as hell. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
 
Nevermind, I *THINK* I found out the reason, Sprint= 2 hours to reset stuff, IMO= ******ed. But I guess.. What do I do with these 2 hours to myself... I can't even play games.. :(
 
Same thing happened with mine, now I cant send or receive any texts, I think it is for all sprint phones because I tried sending a text with my dads phone which is not an evo and it wouldnt send either. I can still make phone calls and do everything else.
 
Yeah DST, I don't know, that's what Customer Care is saying to us.. If it takes 2 hours to reset a one hour fall back, that's dumb. But hey, I guess I can't complain..

An yeah, all I can make/receive are phone calls..

I'm guessing its 2 hours now because that is when all the time zones are going to be done with daylight savings time

Anyone know if you will receive any text sent to your phone still?

Like if someone texts me right now will it show up later?

I dont think so, because when I tried sending a text from my dads phone which is not an evo just some flip style phone it wouldnt send and then saved it in his dropbox folder, same thing with when i try sending a text it tries and then it stops and u have to hit re-send again
 
Alright thanks! and if anyone has the same question as me

I think you can receive text still because I used text2day to text my phone and it showed up.

I'm not any type of computer engineer or anything but what separates SMS from Calling on a cellphone is that SMS works kind of like your computer on the internet, the message gets sent to a giant server and then gets forwarded to whoever you're sending it to.

And calling kind of works like a radio dealing with frequencies and antennas.

What?? Really? Its pretty messed up. I don't understand how Sprint can let this happen and not put some sort of message up. Especially since it supposedly happened before.
 
Schit happens as they say. Nothing's perfect. An outage was experienced; Sprint was on top of it. If it hasn't been fixed for everyone yet, it will be shortly.

BTW, it's kinda hard to get a message out when it happens in the wee hours of the night.
