Help SMS Messages not received

Hi Everyone,
I have an "unbranded" Desire HD with android 2.3.3. and cannot receive SMS messages from my Bank, Carrier, ISP provider, etc. This has happen ever since I got the phone. SMS messages sent by friends, family, etc., arrive with no problems. My ISP/carrier is Telefonica / movistar in Spain.
Any Ideas on how to fix it?

I'm not sure there is an easy fix.

If the messages are sent in WAP Push (as a lot of these types of messages are) format, then I don't think Android can receive them.

I had a feeling that the answer is old technology. I am contacting my ISP / Carrier / Bank and making a formal complaint and, fingers crossed, they will do something. I suggest that anyone else who has the same problem also contact the organization concerned.

I just had a quick scan on the market and found this, I don't know what it's used for exactly as the authors description is a little vague, but you could try something like that?
