Help SMS Not grouping messages from same contact

When conversing with a contact via SMS the thread does not stay grouped together. The message I send will be one on thread and then the send a message back it is a totally different thread. The messages are going to and coming from the same number. Can anyone explain how to resolve this issue. It appears to only happen with one contact. I use GO SMS right now.

It might be a GO SMS setting. I would check that. Use the default messaging app and see if it does the same thing.

Bummed. That did not work. I replied to their message to me and it created a new thread. Any other suggestions?

Hmm... If its a GO SMS problem I can't help, but I might be able to if its just regular messaging. Do you have Delivery Reports checking in the settings? If so uncheck that.

I do not have that checked in the settings. I have also deleted remove SMS apps from the phone and currently using the stock SMS. Do you use the stock SMS or another SMS program?

I use stock but I can't figure out why it would be seperating your texts... have you tried googling the problem?

Thanks for providing some tips to get the solution resolved. I did some other hunting and found it may have been related the file for that contact. So I deleted the contact information and then added it back to the account. Since then it has worked. Keeping my fingers crossed though.
