i am facing a problem with mytouch 3g. it doesn't send sms's locally. yes local sms only. i am able to send international sms's. i have got my plan checked and they say its probably the phone's issue as all the things at their end are working fine. i placed my sim in some other phone and verified it and it was confirmed that it was my phone's problem as i was able to send all my sms's. receiving sms's on my phone is not a problem at all.
i wonder whether its a harware issue or a software challange. since it allows to send international sms's, it makes me think that something is wrong with my software.
I would really appreciate if some one can guide me in resolving this issue.
by the way, recently i went out of country and i took out my sim and placed a new sim for that particular country. when i came back and replaced my original sim in the phone, i started facing this problem. this information might be of some help.
