SMS Popup

Hello everyone,
Is there any way to see the popup before unlocking but without the screen going on? In other words, I do not want the lockscreen to be on after I send my SMS reply. Just a black screen. I have tried Go SMS and Handscent.

Don't think so. In order for you to see the pop up the screen has to come on. You can see the pop up before unlocking though with handcent and go SMS

What I do is use widgetlocker which allows you to put app shortcuts on the lockscreen. I use an app called screen off and lock to then turn off the screen after sending the reply. All without unlocking the screen.

So there's no way after my popup comes up and I send my reply, the lockscreen is there. Is there a way not to light up the lockscreen? Maybe I'll try widgetlocker. Thanks

The screen, and therefore the lockscreen, have to light up for you to even see the pop up.
