Help sms problems tonight 5/6/11?

Something weird is happening and it just started like 20 minutes ago... everytime I text a person that has sprint I'm getting this message "The recipient you are sending to has chosen not to receive messages. Msg 2111"

Any one else having this problem tonight?
 
yeah, me and my friend are having the same issues too, i just texted him and it didnt go through, i got that msg, and so did he... i THINK its only sprint to sprint too...


(HTC EVO) and (SAMSUNG TRANSFORM)
 
i think its just the evo or something. i texted myself and it went through just fine. i also text a friend and i woke them up actually lol. you and another person have the evo and they mentioned this.. hmm idk what to say about it. even Chriz Chavez said he was having issues as well on twitter. I know he has a evo.
 
Apparently its an outage within sprint because i can text other people on other networks fine... Many people are having this issue just take a look at twitter and you will see lol
 
my friend has a Transform and his friend has a P.O.S phone and it didnt go though either. i dont THINK that its just an EVO thing.
 
Having the same problem, trying to text this chick who has boost mobile, I have sprint, htc evo...it appears this glitch is not affecting all users?
 
Only sprint to sprint isnt working (thats what it looks like)... i texted an ATT user and a Verizon user, and a T-mo and it all went thru except sprint.

Good to hear at least u didnt get a recording talking about "u have reached sprint after normal business hours" then i realized it was 1 30 am here in nyc lol
 
Lol b1. I always try to avoid those and go for random buttons and eventually get someone.

And Brian , they have no idea, she said that it was being worked on
 
LOL B1, i guess you and i dont sleep and spend time texting at this hour huh... cuz i DEFINITELY got the same msg, not thinking what time it was HAHA

yeah, I had ATT before, but i hated it so i switched over to Sprint and got the evo white. I actually got it on monday, I was freaking out that I thought I broke it and was pissed.

@ skittles NICE. i was thinking of switching to att because i loved the service, but decided not to because i loved sprint even more... ive been spending the past couple days downloading apps too because i just had my evo replaced... i dropped it and it stattered like a mirror... so BE CAREFUL with it.... if it falls at an angle ur good, except for a couple minor nicks, but mine fell FLAT on the BACK and the glass just spider-webbed.....

needless to say, i was a sad panda that day...
 
well hopefully this issue will be resolved by morning... on that note thanks to all for the input and have a good night time for bed unfortunately lol
