Help SMS Probs

Hi,

If I send an SMS over 160 characters long the recipient only receives the 1st 160 character and there is no 2nd text with the remaining amount which is what should happen.
Any ideas?

What SMS app are you using? If not stock is there an option somewhere which hasn't been enabled?

This isn't likely to be rom related as i have used ARHD Gingerbread and ICS with no problems
 
Handcent has an option regarding long messages and splitting them in two.

Maybe that will work at sending messages, plus it's just 10 times better than the Stock messaging app.
 
The ARHD roms as far as I'm aware - certain ones are having issues with SMS/MMS converting them to MMS after 160 characters. You may need to look further at this. Or possibly check your MMS settings.
