Help SMS reply problem

I have a weird and annoying problem...

When I receive an sms message and hit reply it sends the message to a number composed from the last 5 digits of contact number.


So let's say I have a contact with this number: 0612345678 - when I receive an sms from it and hit reply, my text is sent to 45678 ...

It's not always happening. I edited the number, to check if I don't have 2 numbers associated with same contact, but everything is ok...

It's driving me crazy, especially because all this sms sent completely wrong are billable...


I also tried GO SMS and Handcent SMS - same stupid issue


Any ideas?

Go into menu > settings > applications > manage applications and find your messaging app, then clear cache and data, then reboot your device.
