Help SMS shows in full on lock screen

Since 2.3.5 upgrade the only issue I have is that any incoming SMS ends up displaying in full on my lock screen.

Whilst I have nothing to hide, I don't want my business seen by any passing sole as I frequently leave my phone on my desk at work.

And of course I can't find how to change this - any suggestions please?

Sorry - I should have said. Yes this is absolutely stock - no changes, no hacks, no roots, nothing.

I think they mean are you using the stock message app and not handcent etc?

Couldnt see how to stop it in the stock message app (never use it) but there are options on handcent etc to stop it showing the full text. They are also 100 times more customisable than the stock message app.

If i were u id get handcent or GO.

Go to Settings/Privacy/ and unclick Display text message.
