Help SMS slow help!!

Hey guys I have the HTC One M8 Harmon Kardon. Well everthing is great but one problem! I have the Go SMS app installed and everytime I go to click on a contact it takes 5 to 10 secconds to load up the messages and all. I had came from the S4 (Great Phone) and never had an issue!! Could anybody help me on this matter? Thanks!!

Personally I don't really care for GoSMS because it has been known to have a lot of lag. You might want to try ChompSMS or Handcent.


If that isn't an option I would try going into settings>apps>GoSMS and clearing the cache, but most likely the only solution would be to delete all data (wiping out all of the old messages) of going in and deleting as many as you can manually.

When I tried GoSMS log ago I noticed that if I too many messages it would start lagging really bad.

Try "Handcent" - seems quite snappy and quite flexible. I had tried 'GO SMS Pro" and Chomp, but I went back to Handcent. Just one person's opinion. Try them all - if you do not like them, delete. No downside risk. When I tried a launcher that ws/is free for a few days, it really messed up my phone. Probably would happen with n SMS app.

The people who might have the best answer for you are the Go team. And they're pretty good about answering emailed questions.

Anything from Go never good in performance. I by pass all apps from Go.

Get textra it's a great messaging app I switched from GO and it's waaaayyyy better!
