Help SMS Sort Issue with 2.2?

I downloaded 2.2 and love it so far. However, when text messages are coming in, the newest are not necessarily falling at the top. They stay in the order that the thread actually started in. Is anyone else having this issue? I am using the stock SMS application.

Any advice on this would be great. Thanks!

same issue. my time stamp for incoming messages are like 3-4 hours behind when they actually arrive. However, my send messages have the correct time stamp.

I'm using chompSMS v4.7

Mine has been keeping them in alpabetical order. Regardless of who sent what when. Lame

I wiped all my messages and it is still broken for me. if I sent 5 texts to different people it is in the right order. when they reply the get all jumbled up

I've just had issues with the time stamp of sms messages with the Launcher Pro Plus text message widget.

Stock Droid X sms viewing is fine. I wish someone would fix the issue. Dunno if its the app devs or something else entirely.

I had an issue with stock sms application as well and hancent.

I had this same problem and fixed it using the application SMS Time Fix from the market. Just enable it and check the box to use your phones time.

If you use Handcent you will also need to downgrade to version 3.26 as the latest version tries to fix the timestamp problem but ends up causing it to be even more off. You can download the older version of handcent here:
