SMS troubles

Sending and receiving texts working fine. It's when I send or receive a picture or try to send a text to an email address that's an issue. I'm on WiFi at home, and usually it just switched to 3G (no 4G in my area) to send and receive, but it hasn't been doing that lately. I turn off WiFi and it sends fine.

Sending text messages uses your normal Cellular Radio. Sending pictures or media uses the active internet connection. So your WiFi or the 3G/4G signal.

This sounds like an issue perhaps with your router or the WiFi you are connected to. Try making sure you do not have a Firewall in place and the security you have setup is adjusted to give your phone access =)

I need a bit more info about the details of your problem.

For the pictures, have you looked at all your settings for SMS and checked the picture sizes etc? There are several settings that could get in the way if not coordinated. Look at connection settings as well.

With respect to WIFI, if it is set as default the phone will always try to find a connection and this can cause issues. I also have to turn it off sometimes because of interference. This is especially true if the hotspots require a password and the phone tries to connect with them and can't. I have had some problems when there were several WIFI spots and the phone was trying to use them instead of going to 4G or 3G.

Sounds like your phone is ok though.
