sms vibrate with chomp and hancent

I have tried hancent and chomp. For some reason I can not get the phone to vibrate when I recieve a message. It works with the weak stock Eris vibration, but nothing with chomp or hancent. I must be doing something wrong, what is it? Thanks

In Chomp-

Go to Menu -> Settings -> Notifications and go to Vibrate and click on it...Is it set to Always, Never or Only when volume set to vibrate?

I had this problem too. I found a solution online that said to download "Sound Manager" from the market and change the vibrate setting for notifications. Somehow, this gets turned off for some people and won't go back using normal settings.

This was a big help.I have Chomp and since last week my Eris wouldn't vibrate when I received texts. Problem solved.Good looking out!
