Root Snap 7.6

Anyone running snap 7.6 kernel with turbo? I am and other than the big quadrant scores which i think have a lot to do with the read/write speed increase due to the partition, i dont notice much diff between this rom kernel combo and any other i have tried. What is your opinion.

ps i switched back to cm6 until MIUI mms is working all the way around and i was lead to dialer one, which is the reason i left cm6 in the first place, i like the sense style dialer.

The bump on the Quadrant scores is due to the Turbo,7.6 does not required a partition unless you already had one.

The Kernel will perform the same with or without a partition.

either way, i am not noticing anything great but my battery life is worse, is this kernel all smoke and mirrors?

I didn't notice any big difference (if there was any at all) at the time I was running it,supposedly the performance increase is there and it reflects in the Quadrant scores which I believe they just found a way to fool the Quadrant app and make believe the results you are getting are realistic.

There was a big discussion about this a while ago,things got really heated and the snap team put a couple of explanations out there but I wasn't to convinced.

The Kernel is indeed well put together but I was expecting something else.I been CM and snap free for a few weeks now.Phone runs as good as it did with CM just a tad bit slower but I can deal with it.

On a side note,I'm really hoping they get the camera working soon on MIUI,I have a 14 month ole daughter and I need my camera to capture every moment.

I am on 7.6 and I am not noticing anything great either. Quad scores really mean nothing to me. What I do know is I am getting horrid batt life...like 10hrs. I am going to flash a Kingz kernel

im on cm6 and turbo snap 7.6. love it! im using juice defender pro and getting about 18hours of moderate use before a charge. i just installed a seido 1750 battery and am breaking it in. i should notice an even better increase in life. this rom and kernal, imho, is the best rom out there.
