Diggin around my files. I forgot i had android tuner. Installed it again. Set the cpu 1 to online both governers to msm dcvs. Cpu1 never shuts off. Both cpu seem to work more together. Stuff happens quicker now. A very interesting setting. Normaly cpu1 goes on and off as needed. May use more battery but may be usefull at times. There is another setting for At boot force all cpus online. I am sure it makes the initiation of tasks quicjer since cpu1 is active.
This setting is awesome. Makes a nice gain in oerformance both cpus attacking every task from initiation to completion. I wonder if there is a script somebody has written so an app is not necessary.

if anybody has an idea about how to make this permanent please let me know, this kicka## but with android tuner it doesnt apply on reboot properly.

Many devs for other phones (including mine)have scripts to force cpu online.

My take on it... Its a battery killer. There's no point in having cpu1 on while the phones sitting in your pocket. That's the reason it goes on and off when needed

well it is in FREE or Ready state. it becomes online when needed like a helper or booster cpu.and is erratic the work separatly at different frequencies, cpu 1 always going on and off.
android tuner has a setting where it is always online and cpu0 cpu1 work more in unison like a desktop or laptop with mulltipul cpu.
being always on the phone is snappier. what i would like is a script or where modify the settings to not need android tuner for this.
i like to find scripts or settings for as many things as possible to reduced amount of apps i need running.

battery killer correct, but i am trying to see if i can reduced the minimal frequency for cpus. the minimal is something like 384 if i can configure something lower or have a simple setting or profile to quickly change.

I know there's scripts for my device that force CPU online only when screen is on. I would look into that

i dont know about your phone but my motion doesnt seem to use cpu1 at optimum seems like the script for it allows it to go offline at improper times, and thanks for the tips, i apreciate but just as important others here will be helped

i found android tuner will wriye intd scripts for its tweaks motion doesnt come with initd does it? pimp my rom has intd installer, will that work for the motion?

heres something interesting free i am gonna look at

the app on playstore this is cool it seems to work well on our phone if not the dev will try to acommodate any requests

The free kernel turner i posted above wrote an initd script.but there is something about the way our system is set up that doesnt allow it too work. Only works manually after boot. I tried to directly modify directly in the proc/sys but that doesnt work either
This is kernek tuner initd. I winder if putting a delay for the iniation of the script.

#!/system/bin/sh
chmod 666 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
echo "msm-dcvs" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
chmod 444 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
chmod 666 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
echo "1512000" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq

chmod 444 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
chmod 666 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_governor
echo "msm-dcvs" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_governor
chmod 444 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_governor
chmod 666 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
echo "1512000" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
chmod 444 /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq

But really in the proc there is a setting for AFFECTED CPUS that i think will do it. But it seems i dont have ability to be SUPERUSER there. All the files i want to manipulate treat me like GUESTUSER. LOL

I've been working on this the past hour and the only way I have found to keep cpu1 on is with this command:
echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online
I haven't yet been able to implement it successfully in a script for some unknown reason.

I manually put in the commands from the script you posted, and it does not keep cpu1 on. So perhaps the app is telling you false information?

However, what the script does instead is set both cpu0 and cpu1 to always operate at full speed. You may be noticing a performance increase from that.

/I have used several cpu monitors they all indicate that when i manually set kernel tuner to cpu1 always on it is always on.and they run more in unison. I think part of the issue is cpu1 does not have its own cpu settings files. There is setting to make to control both cpus. But i am not allowed to modify. And thanks for the interest in my project. I bet others would be intetest in using this to.
I havd been wondering if i can copy cpu0 setting files to cpu1 for more control
Look in sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/frequencies/affected cpus othet files there say cpu1 is a sibling. I dont understand why i cant simply permanently overwrite settings . Like a an even lower minimum cpu frequency.

I found out the solution :) Making post within few minutes with compete script as well.

Thats exactlty what i thought. I took his line and made it initd script. Didnt work. But can go to it and execute it and works. What do you add to put a delay on it?

Ok thats basicallly what i did with Seperos line. Except i am running as initd. Wow i am gonna try this too. THANKS ALOT you guys this is cool
