Root So close to root, BUT..

So i made it all the way to step 7. This is where i get confused.


Now, reboot your phone and put the custom RUU (PG05IMG.zip) on your SD card. Then flash it. This will upgrade you to release firmware with an S-OFF bootloader.


I placed the file back on the phone but how do I flash it? I tried restarting the phone with volume down and hold start. BUt when i push it that way, It says image, not found, or something. I can place it back on the card by moving file to SD from PC, BUt once its on there nothing happens.

No commands work in CMD at this point. They all say error. Offline. But when i check with adb devices command. It says its there. Will i have to start process all over? I gotta call it quits. Its late and im fried on this.
 
did it and it brought up a message saying to place the PG05 file on card. It is there. And it say to flash it. But i dont know how to flash it? From where? with what? Sorry if i seem stupid. I did do my Fascinate. That seemed much easier than this/..
 
Got it to go to bootloader screen finally. It flashes but says, no image, wrong image. Im pretty sure its right. It worked earlier when i had to put it on and take it off again.
 
Ok. I got it. Sorry. I saw something in that fast reboot that i freaked out on, I should have ignored it and kept going, but i stopped in fear that i messed up. I got the guts and pushed through it. It now says SUPER USER! Thanks for your prompt responses! I used Manual

BUT. When i runclockworkMod it says error when i try to confirm model

Was too tired. I messed up something. All is working smoothly now. Not complete, BUt i can see its gonna work!
