Okay well I am going to start this post off by letting everyone know I am sorry this is so long,but I am so clueless and kinda creeped out(as you are about to see why). This phone wasgiven to me by one of my close friends.Before that day I had never heard of a rooted phone.But I watched him factory reset it and did my own research and hve a better understanding now.This was in December.Never had a problem,until... A friend of a friend contacted me,wanting to hangout. He was a acquaintance.Cut to the chase now, we hungout on Fri night,Saturday afternoon I took a nap. My phone was moved when I woke. I didn't use it much that day.that night a friend of his was over,I get out of the shower to find my phone,moved a good distance with a notebook and pen laying nxt to it. I go to use it, and there is no service.Cannot make a phone call out.Can't get on the web.but I can text. He is gone at this point so I didn't know what to think. I was digging thru my stuff bc eberything was different. Even the weird apps (the rom one and 1 or 2 more) well I had no internal storage. The only thing my phone was good for was texting. When he gets back im trying to fix it and the first thing he said to me was 'how'd you fix your phone?' Naturally he used my music widget (on my main screen) if he did it,it was when he was listening to music...This guy talked on MANY occasions during these 2 days about how he hardly knows how to answer a call. My phone later froze after I took the battery out,and stayed that way for hours. I tried the backup thing,and there was a file from that day?!. But I went to restore it and my md5 is missing No ideaa what that is. Before this I was trying everything and partioned my SD card. Not cool. But I restored it to a earlier time and lost a quite a bit of stuff. SO,HERES MY QUESTION ;; Would he have ANY reason to try and invade my phone? Or sheer coincidence? Its steadily been messing up since. My SD card was blank 2 days ago.someone told me to mount it but it was.I unmounted and mounted a cpl times and got my pictures to come up long enough to send my album to picasa. Well that put thm in my dropbox. The location set on the dropbox is his. And it was created while I was sleeping..? Another issue is my latitude. Sometimes when I turn it on,it will have me random places I would not be. PLEASE,ANYONE,Tell me what's happened. And since then I hve service about 10% of the time. This phone is barely working anymore with no service and constantly having to force close. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO HELP ME!!!
I may sound dumb(DUMBER) lol but what does on the up and up mean? & With factory reset, does that delete all my pictures and such?But, I do have a pin now.I just sat down today and really thought about the whole situation and following weeks & the guy is a weirdo! I just remembered that the last time I saw him as he was leaving he said 'ill be watching you' and he asked if i knew why,i said no, and he said that i would figure it out.Yes,im super creeped out.Control freak, definitely. Stalker...IDK. I phrased that wrong though. I should have ask if this was possible to do. For someone who is 'incredibily cellphone illiterate' he woulda had to do alot more then press play,forward and back on the music widget. He has a blackberry(for work) and a iphone(personal use) and has never had a problem playing music when i was around. I just know when my phone went to shit, he had it. Is there something he could have done to it to make it act so crazy? Or is there a way I could find out? I am sorry to have to explain my life story, like I said im clueless and freaking out thinking he may have some sorta access to my phone. Thank you both again!!
