So, does the Nexus 4 not show the H+ in the Notification bar on STOCK Android 4.2? Just wondering, because I liked that H+ on my Gnex.
The stock GNex does not show H+ either. You have to go into the "about phone" -> "status" and look for the connection being "HSPA:15" or "HSPAP".
Mine is showing HSPA 10 right now. What does that signify?
That you currently are on Hspa with no back haul improvements. Aka HSPA NO +
So is it the higher the number after HSPA the better? Highest being 42 I assume?
Currently yes, but according to Evolved HSPA - Wikipedia the highest number should eventually be "168"; 168 Megabits per second (Mbps) to the mobile device (downlink) and 22 Mbps from the mobile device (uplink).
I'd be spoiled with the 42, I'm thinking.
