If battery life is important, the Maxx is a great phone. The screen is most important to me. The GNex simply can't be beat for screen size and PPI, although the Rezound comes close.
The Rezound is tops in PPI.
To 99% of customers, the screen looks great.I love my GN but my battery isn't the best. Love the razr Max battery. But I hate Motorola's software and the screen looks like crap.
IF this were true, I would still personally choose the Gnex for 3 hardware reasons:
1) 720p 4.65" Amoled Screen -- Side by side it doesn't compare.
2) NFC -- Google Wallet (unofficially) is amazing. I see paying by NFC/phone becoming huge soon. The RAZR has NO NFC. Before you knock it, you need to try it. This IS the future.
3) User Removable Battery -- Big battery or not, I don't like having to send in a device or void my warranty in order to change a battery.
Obviously, equal ICS support does not exist in this "perfect world." How long will it be before MAXX users really get ICS? 6 months after Gnex? 1 year? What bout when Jelly Bean comes out? They will need to wait again...1 year? Never?
"VZW has the RAZR MAXX available as CPO, so you can swap if you turbo with customer service"
What does this mean?
