Root So. I'm learning Unix/Android.... What's the word on Overclocking?

Enjoying my new Droid X. Rooted. Backed up bloatware using titanium back up. then used abd shell to delete what I didn't want.

Haven't had any slowness after rooting and doing a battery pull either. Still Smokin' fast. However, besides freeing up space and not having to look at the apps on my screen, I haven't noticed any speed increase. (as i expected).

is there an ETA on being able to Overclock?

There is no word, yet. The X's stock kernel does not support overclocking.

What you could do, if you feel like it, is use Set CPU. I've set profiles up that throttle the processor down when idle, and actually boosted my battery life something fierce.

Just a thought.
