All of a sudden my sound profile goes from normal to silent? It gets annoying, ill have it on normal for a week or so and then it will change back to silent

If you can still hear callers, and you can change it back to "normal" without having to reboot the phone, then no, you don't have the silent bug. You just have a rogue app.

Stopped by Verizon today , concerning the "Silent Bug" and was told there is an update coming out tomorrow that addresses this issue ! ..........................We'll see

same thing happens to me. Right now if I go to settings it says the sound profile is normal but when I long hold the end button it says phone is in silent mode? When I push that I get a speaker off icon on my phone.

But I do still get calls and messages and stuff when it is in silent mode from the settings. Not sure if I would get calls when I turn off the silent mode from the end button off and the icon appears saying speaker is off.
