So JB has been announced but what will this mean for the future of flash player?

When the current version of flash was released Adobe confirmed this would be the last and that only security updates would follow. Does this mean no flash for JB? If the answer to this question is yes then personally I'll be giving this new OS a miss. How do the rest of you feel about the possibility of losing flash?........discuss.

In Android 4.1, the Android Browser and WebViews include these enhancements:

Better HTML5 video user experience, including touch-to-play/pause and smooth transition from inline to full screen mode.
Improved rendering speed and reduced memory usage for better scrolling and zooming performance.
Improved HTML5/CSS3/Canvas animation performance.
Improved text input.
Updated JavaScript Engine (V8) for better JavaScript performance.
Support for the updated HTML5 Media Capture specification (the "capture" attribute on input type=file elements).

I tried it in the SDK today. The flash player APK installs fine and the browser still supports plug ins. The browser included with the SDK is very similar to the ICS one meaning its not Chrome like some expected. It seems to load flash but all of the elements are empty. This could be caused by the emulator or flash apk. Overall JB seems similar enough to ICS that there is a good chance flash will work even if its not supported.
